ABOUT US

Welcome to Rhizome Health

Founded by Raven-Joyce Harley D.O.M., Welcome to Rhizome Health, where Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) meets a compassionate and holistic approach to health and wellness. Our practice is rooted in time-honored principles that have guided TCM for centuries. After experiencing her own health challenges, Raven-Joyce discovered the profound benefits of TCM, which inspired her to help others achieve their wellness goals as she had once been helped.

At Rhizome Health, we assess and treat the root causes of health conditions by applying meridian theory, microsystem acupuncture, and herbology. With additional training as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Raven-Joyce is uniquely qualified to prescribe herbal remedies tailored to each patient’s needs. Her background in pre-med and nursing further enriches her understanding of integrative healthcare, allowing her to provide a personalized treatment experience.

"Every time I get a treatment from Dr. Harley, I feel so much better. My joints and mobility have improved drastically. She puts a lot of thought into my comfort and makes me feel at ease. She has helped for many different concerns, including grieving and anxiety after my daughter passed away. I keep coming back to her because she cares about people."

"I got treatments before I came to see Dr. Harley, and I did get some relief. This time I feel stronger and the effects of the treatments are lasting longer. She gave me some herbs for my back pain and I feel great. She is polite and professional and has a good way about her. Acupuncture helped me a lot. As a veteran, I would highly recommend it."
